Lukasz,

For SE7520JR2, it has a mini-BMC on the baseboard which uses SSIF over
I2C.  However, when the IMM is connected, the mini-BMC is disabled, and
all IPMI server management goes via KCS to the BMC on the IMM for added
functionality.  So there are two options:
1) Use the basic mBMC on-board for IPMI via SMBus/SSIF (i2c), 
or
2) Use the advanced IMM for IPMI via KCS
But you can't do both.

i have problem with such configuration : intel se7520jr2 + IMM +
backplane (lm75 onboard)

when i starts the system (kernel 2.6.17 with patch form openipmi
project) without IMM and scan i2c busses i gets this information:

lm75 is used and in /sys/bus/i2c exists two links: 0-004c 0-004d
inside them i can find interested me information:
