If pnpacpi=off, the ACPI method will not be used to detect any IPMI
interfaces, but wouldn't ipmi_si then use one of the other methods to
detect the interface, such as SMBIOS (dmi_find_bmc)?
The platforms I've seen that support IPMI ACPI detection frequently
support a copy of the interface info in SMBIOS as well.
