I want to integrate ipmi_sim into the test suite for my ipmi library, but unfortunately it appears that state gets shoved in /var by default with no config option to change it. The directory appears to be set at configure-time and is effectively hardcoded assuming that OS packages are being used.
I don't actually care about state being saved, so if it was even possible to disable state in the config, that would be good enough. Am I missing something obvious?
