It looks like ipmi_sim is only listening on IPv6, bug ipmitool is trying to connect on IPv4. Can you send me your config files? I may have messed up some address parsing.

    Unless you have change the lan.conf file to use 623 for the IPMI
    port, you need a '-p <port>' here.

    As a side note, you are probably better off leaving the cypher
    suite selection alone.  ipmitool will choose the most secure
    available by default.

        Any ideas what I could have done wrong?
