You're talking about not removing the failed entry from ipmi_dmi_infos in your
"bug" statement above?

No, the free added in ipmi_si_intf.c was not correct, I removed that in the final version of
"ipmi: use dynamic memory for DMI driver override"

driver_override must be initialized to a non-constant string as it is
free'd in driver_override_store().
