Status in “compiz” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed
Status in “openjdk-6” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
SystemTray.isSupported()
returns false with openjdk using gnome + compiz, while it returns true if I use
metacity instead of compiz.

This problem was known is sun-java, and should be corrected in java 6 update 10
: http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6438179
"Specifically, it returns true only if the window manager is named "Metacity"
or "KWin".

As a result, impossible to make a java program which use systray for people
using compiz :(
