Bug description:
Binary package hint: update-manager
Before upgrading from Karmic to Lucid beta 2, I had the icedtea6-plugin package
installed and selected, and java applets were working in firefox. After
upgrading, icedtea6-plugin was deselected, and no java plugin showed up in
firefox when I entered about:plugins in the URL bar. To make java applets work
again, I had to do an apt-get install icedtea6-plugin to reselect the package.
The package was still cached on my system; it just needed to be reselected
manually.
