well, we would have to re-introduce this as an empty package i lucid, but as this is the very old gcjwebplugin I doubt it is worth it. proposing to close this report as won't fix

After upgrading, icedtea6-plugin was deselected, and no java plugin showed up in firefox when I entered about:plugins in the URL bar. To make java applets work again, I had to do an apt-get install icedtea6-plugin to reselect the package. The package was still cached on my system; it just needed to be reselected manually.
