Title: icedtea6-plugin doesn’t work in AFS network home directories Status in Iced Tea: Fix Released Status in “openjdk-6” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: The icedtea plugin creates fifos at ~/.icedteaplugin/icedtea- appletviewer-to-plugin and ~/.icedteaplugin/icedtea-plugin-to- appletviewer. So if $HOME is in an AFS filesystem, which doesn’t support fifos, the plugin doesn’t work at all.
