This is not an openjdk-bug but some Eclipse-SWT/Ubuntu-GTK issue. I have the exact same error running Sun JKD 1.6.0_24 on Ubuntu 11.04 64bit+latest updates :

No "Saving workspace" or nothing, it just disappears just like that. This typically happens around twice per day. The latest crash today came when i was asking for code completion pop-up to appear for a class i was working on. I have not found any logs or anything that gives any information about these crashes, so please give me some tips for logs you want me to check.
