Just for the record, with OpenJDK 7 everything works fine, which means
that it is, indeed, something wrong with OpenJDK 6.
Now, the question: is openjdk-7 going to be pointed to by
default-j{re,dk}? When you need icedtea to access your bank, opendjk-6
is pulled in by default...
