successfully installed on a previous attempt and remains 'half-
installed'. Unfortunately the logs don't indicate why that happened.
You should try to reinstall OpenJDK 8. Either use your preferred
software/package manager or open a terminal and run:
$ sudo apt-get install --reinstall openjdk-8-jre-headless
