Title: Provide JRE compiled with javac -g flag Status in openjdk-7 package in Ubuntu: New Status in openjdk-8 package in Ubuntu: New Status in openjdk-9 package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Java IDEs (like NetBeans) need a JRE which has been compiled with `-g` flag of `javac` in order to be able to display debug information. It'd be nice to provide a separate JRE which Ubuntu users can use output- of-the-box to run their IDE or programs running inside the IDE.
