Hi Michael, thanks for your demo. Yes, that would be a solution, but I do not want this cpu / gpu consuming capture approach. In OpenGL it would be very simple to simulate this milke glass effect: simply create a transparent texture and use a shader in the GPU to blur the underlying content - no cpu usage needed.
So my question is: In JavaFX I can apply a blur effect to a pane - that’s fine. But can I use the blur effect on a pane too to blur the underlying content?
