Given I've been name checked I'll respond :-)

I believe the JavaFX Community site was automated - it basically aggregated a number of blogs regardless of the individual blog posts relevance. The challenge was the upfront discovery of relevant websites and adding them to the aggregator. I am a little more discerning on my website (either jonathangiles.net or fxexperience.com), but I try not to exclude anything if there is some relevance.

I guess the question becomes: what do people want? An RSS aggregator from a curated list of authors (where there will invariably be some irrelevant 'noise'), or something else?

I am happy to help where I can.

I already contacted people in charge (the reply all got me one more time).

I think if we want to have a special area we should figure out someone who
is willing to put some effort into adding content...

The best aggregator out there is Jonathans Blog at the moment

Ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks, I've forwarded on to the community.oracle.com folks -- will let

Hi,

There used to be a JavaFX community site with a nice blog aggregator and
other
useful information: http://community.java.net/community/javafx

Now this gets redirected to a seemingly new platform:
https://community.oracle.com/community/java

The actual new sub-site for JavaFX can be found at (quite hidden,
unfortunately):

https://community.oracle.com/community/java/java_desktop/javafx_2.0_and_later

Please fix the redirect link.

Unfortunately, this site only seems to aggragte forum posts - no blog
aggregator or other information.

It would be great if you could bring those back.
