Hi! My name is Jonny Heggheim and I am a packager for Fedora[1].
I would like to include OpenJFX in our official Fedora repository to make it possible to redistribute packages that depend on JavaFX. There have been a discussion for several years[2] and I have started on a RPM package based on the work of other. Those of you who run Fedora can test these builds today by installing from COPR[3]. Are there applications/workflows that you recommend that I run to verify that the installation work? Are there anyone running Fedora that can provide feedback before we publish RPM packages? Currently we do not build with media or webkit support, will that cause big problems? Can you redirect me to details about the licenses? The LICENSE file states GPL v2 with exceptions, but I have found other bundled libraries with different license.
