Looking at https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8150946 , it seems to be fixed in 9 but not in 8. The similar JDK-8136838 ( https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8136838) was backported to 8 , but it seems the spinner behavior of not saving values on focus lost still exists in 8.
Is this likely to be backported? If not the whole focus-loss semantics, maybe just making Spinners and ComboBoxes have consistent behavior? Regards, Itai.
