Fixing an old standing issue with 1 line sounds good :)
At first sight, it seems unlikely that issues in this backport will only show 
up in the backport. So I expect that potential problems will be visible in HEAD 
as well. If that is true, then it might be safer to target this to 25.0.4, 
which gives us 3 months testing before we bake it into an LTS. 
What do you think?
