Hi, I've just filed https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8392843 that describes a possible bug with rendering of unicode characters. It's apparently limited to Windows, but if anyone can test it with their own system(s) it would help isolate the problematic environment. Any insights as to the cause is also appreciated as I've never looked into the fonts area of JavaFX.
