Changes to make this work properly would go quite far (and would require [JDK-8388013](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8388013)) so I propose doing this as part of [JDK-8388013](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8388013) after this PR is completed.
