Hi Senthil,

You've sent your email to the correct list. However, whether or not action is taken upon a ticket someone creates depends on a number of factors like: - the completeness of the patch: does it have tests and do all other tests still pass in the major browsers when patch is applied? - the seriousness of the bug or usefulness of the feature, ie: does it affect many people
- the work load of the OL developers
- and more

It might be somewhat frustrating when you don't see action taken quick enough (in your opinion).

In your case, sending an email to the list without any explanation in it (like describing the problem and the solution) is not too helpful: the reader is forced to click on the link to trac to find out what the ticket is about.

The good news is: your ticket is in trac you've set the milestone 2.11. It's now best to wait until someone from the core dev team will assess the patch and possibly commit it to trunk in time for the next version. Quite often, shortly before a new release the developers go through all outstanding tickets.

In the meanwhile, I suggest to just sit back and relax. You can always apply your patch to your local OL version, just like everybody else who's problem might be solved with your patch.

I hope that helps a bit.

Regards,

Roald
