Hello, http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/ticket/1633 removes the dependency on AnchoredBubble and Marker from OpenLayers.Feature in order to get smaller build. The proposed patch removes the two requires, adapt the code and unit tests without functionality change.
But there's a backward incompatibility change: with custom build, the createPopup and createMarker functions will require the two files to be manually added to the build config file. I think that adding a note on http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/wiki/Release/2.11/Notes is sufficient.
