Hi, I would like to make a suggestion to dev team, that probably the Openlayers documentation would be probably have some code snippets (i.e. examples snippets of the OL project ) and a actual link to the specific example.
R package has the feature and it is easier to understand those functions, etc, if you can see the some code snippet on OpenLayers project. For example, KML, Document http://dev.openlayers.org/releases/OpenLayers-2.10/doc/apidocs/files/OpenLayers/Format/KML-js.html#OpenLayers.Format.KML.OpenLayers.Format.KML KML example http://openlayers.org/dev/examples/kml-layer.html Some people would read the source code first, then read the documentation when it is hard to follow :-).
