OK, it seems like the problem is the Fixed Strategy that I use. Andreas solution works if I use a BBOX Strategy instead. But in this case, I cannot use the BBOX Strategy, unfortunately. Is this a bug in the Fixed Strategy, or is it meant to work like this by design?
