If you want to try pgRouting, you can download the new OSGeo Live DVD [ http://live.osgeo.org/]. There you can find pgRouting installed and the FOSS4G workshop for pgRouting with OpenStreetMap and GeoExt (read the quickstart page of pgRouting to get started).
