I added fractionalZoom: true to my map options and added one WMS based base
layer. The zooming and map extent parts works as expected now. As was
indicated before it will not work with Google or OSM layers. I was hoping
that it wold work when I switch on the WMS based base layer with fractional
zoom and would revert back (to non-fractional) when switching to OSM or
Google base layer (using OL 2.9.1). But that's not the case because the
Google and OSM layers do not work (will not load successfully) with that
settings set to true. So I guess I could make it work adding a listener
control and checking which base layer is switched on - and then for the
case of the WMS base layer set fractionalZoom: true and for the other base
layers (Google, OSM) set fractionalZoom: false. Can I expect that this
should work ?
Thanks
Karsten
