I'm actually using the Google Web Toolkit (GWT) and the openlayers Java bindings to build my map. I can listen to the browser window resize event, but this isn't thrown when just the map div is resized (e.g. if it's inside a resizable panel). But I guess there is no possibility to get an event when just the map div is size-altered, isn't there?
