Is there an easy way to query a WMS layer that is in the map but not visible? Since I couldn't get that work work yet with masperver and WMSGetFeatureInfo when the layer is switched off in the Layer switcher I tried adding another layer that is transparent to the map ( and that does not appear in the layerswitcher but is always on) . The reason for this is that I want the user to be able to query it any time also if not switchwd on (actually the features are visible anyway via a tilecache layer ...) tis works fine now. But are there any better ideas ? Karsten
