Thanks for the fast reply. I don't really have problems tying difference features together, where I seem to have problems is when I zoom in and out that the different features change the distance between themselves.
I guess what I am looking for is a way to keep the distance between features that make up a more complex feature the same regardless of zoom level. Sort of like the label on a point feature, e.g. like a marker.
