I was wondering how hard it would be to incorporate different "blend modes"
into the rendering of layers on top of the base layer. In particular,
rendering with the "color" blend mode for radar and forecast would be really
helpful in not obscuring place names and so forth. Anyone have any advice
about how to go about this?
