Hi,
I regret to confirm that this also is happening to me. Do Bing or Yahoo layers
have the same problem?? Does anybody know? It could be a solution.

Asunto: [OpenLayers-Users] Re: map data alert- google maps issue
Daniel Weaver<dwea...@...> writes:
Hi all,
I've been having an issue with some
of my apps that use the google maps layers. When they load an
annoying alert-style box shows up displaying the source of the google
maps data (the same information displayed at the bottom of the map
when using a google maps baselayer). This initially occured when the
maps were to narrow and the information could not fit in the bottom of
the window. However, now this happens despite the width of my map div
and the alert appears every time I pan or load the map. This just
started happening, so could it be something in the google maps api that was
changed?
Dan

Sorry - I have no solution but wanted to confirm that its not just you.
My only suggestion would be to avoid Google completely. Either create your own
baselayer from several layers or to use OpenStreetMap forms of basemaps.
This has only strengthened my resolve to use my own basemaps.
Abe.
