I have to integrate a KML file into a OpenLayers (version 2.10) map. But it looks like that the host is not allowing to access the locally stored KML file. Firebug gives the information that 0 features are loaded. If I run the same map on localhost or on another server it works perfectly. Question: - Can this be caused by security issues of JavaScript on the host? - Would it help to use instead of a locally hosted KML file a network link? - Are network links for KML supported at all in OpenLayers 2.10 and is there an example known?
