Robert,

I believe you need to put "singleTile: true," further down in the OpenLayers.Layer.WMS constructor. According to the OpenLayers docs its an 'option' value and should be down further, Inside the 'options' section along with the 'opacity' option value.

{
      'opacity': 1,
      'isBaseLayer': false,
      visibility:true,
      singleTile: true
 }

Try it out and see what it does to performance. It probably will fix your point markers, but will probably slow down performance somewhat. Let us know how it works out.

Hi,

This wms layer is not being rendered correctly. On the edge of the tiles the points are being cut off.

I have already tried to produced single tiles with a ratio of 1, but this doesn´t have any effect.

Can anyone see where I am going wrong?...or is this being overrided somewhere?

var layer_solar = new OpenLayers.Layer.WMS(
                "Energiequelle - Solar (MWh/Kopf)",
                "/geoserver/ows",
                {
                   layers: 'zgb_energie:Solar_kopf_SG_wgs84',
                   srs: 'EPSG:4326',
                   format: 'image/png',
                   singleTile: true,
                   ratio: 1,
                   tilesOrigin : "143.60260815000004,-43.851764249999995",
                   transparent: true
                },
                {
                    'opacity': 1, 'isBaseLayer': false, visibility:true
                }
            );

Yours

Robert
