I use the Bing Satellite imagery as a base layer. When I add overlays in epsg 4326 they appear in the right place, however when I zoom in and out the points can become a little messed up. They usually resolve themselves after a few seconds. So I feel your pain.
That being said, the projection of your map is in 900913, correct?
