I would try to use OpenLayers.Layer.WMS.Post and see if the GFI
request
is also using POST... but I never tried it myself.
oh - sorry, I missed your reply. Certainly I will try that route first
and close the other feature request if it solves the problem. Wasn't
aware about the OpenLayers.Layer.WMS.Post object.
