Hi I don't think you need Openlayers for this
you can just change the cursor with css see: http://www.permadi.com/tutorial/cssCustomCursor/ Cheers Kris Met vriendelijke groet, Kind regards, Kristiaan Geusebroek Consultant [cid:[email protected]][cid:[email protected]] Email: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Tel: +31 (0)35 538 1921 Fax: +31 (0)35 538 1922 Mobiel: +31 (0)6 3069 7223 Utrechtseweg 49 1213 TL Hilversum The Netherlands http://www.xebia.com<http://www.xebia.com/> Xebia Blog: http://blog.xebia.com/ On Jul 5, 2011, at 11:59 PM, Arnd Wippermann wrote: Hi, Perhaps that could give an idea: http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/center-crosshairs-td1827008.html Arnd -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Im Auftrag von lars lingner Gesendet: Dienstag, 5. The control should display a crossing horizontal and a vertical line, following the curser. The intersection would be the current mouse position. The lines reaches from one mapframe border to the opposite border. Optionally I want to display the position coordinates "somewhere nearby" the mouse position or at an fixed position on the map. Does anybody done this before? I couldn't find such a thing. If there isn't any code what would be the best way to implement it? Thank you for any ideas or links!
