Hi,
why layer opacity is null by default but the layer is visible. We have
an opacity slider when it is not visible the layer is initially visible
but when the slider is visible it is set to the current opacity so it
is 0 because "null * 100=0" so it's statechange event is thrown and the
opacity of the layer is set to 0. Wouldn't it be clearer to set the
opacity of each layer initially to 1, like "initially it is full visible
so opacity =1"?
I've made a ticket for it http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/ticket/3441.
Maybe you are the same opinion.
