if you are using Geoserver you can of course edit the templates for getfeatureinfo (http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/tutorials/GetFeatureInfo/index.html)
the content.ftl is only included if there is a response, so there you can add a html comment (f.ex: <!-- CONTENT --> ) and check for this in the if-clause if you are using another wms-server i am not sure, but i guess you can do someting similar. -a On 2011-08-04 09:19, michsred wrote: > Sven, > > your solution works great.
