To the gwc layers demo page
(http://localhost/geoserver/gwc<http://localhost/geoserver/gwc/service/wmts>
possibly..),
then click on the layer you care about and inspect the map page (with
firebug / chrome dev tools) that is created to see what images are called,
and then see what size they are...
