I was able to get a change by editing collectDragHandle

var origin = new OpenLayers.Feature.Vector(originGeometry,
null,OpenLayers.Feature.Vector.style['select']);

The undefined is gone, and the styling is different, but it doesn't seem to
be the select in my stylemap.

I use ModifyFeature to move a linestring. The move handle is a green
dot in the center with the text undefined. How do you style this, esp.
to get rid of the label 'undefined'?
