Hello, do you use Geoserver and SLD-files? http://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/styling/sld-cookbook/index.html Then have a look at the sld examples, especially minscaledenominator and maxscaledenominator for setting the scale in which the layer or feature is visible. Lucia
