Hi, I'm experiencing the same thing and created an issue on github for it: https://github.com/openlayers/openlayers/issues/458
It only seems to happen in Firefox and only when the map div is contained by a div that is centered on the page. I think that it's related to the new way of positioning tiles in OL 2.12, which could be exposing a bug in Firefox.

I have an issue with showing my maps on my site with OL. When zooming in stripes are showing up. I don't know why... This happens only with Firefox (I have tested with I.E.) and only within the site frame. I made an example screen shot of this issue: http://maps.alltrams.com/Example.png http://maps.alltrams.com/Example.png The map can be visit by: http://maps.alltrams.com http://maps.alltrams.com , go to 'Mannh./Lud./Heid.' (click on '2011'). Outside the site frame (page it self): http://maps.alltrams.com/Mannheim.html http://maps.alltrams.com/Mannheim.html Someone can provide me with an answer? Thanks a lot!
