I have found that for IPad3 at least, very good results for raster png layers are obtained by setting a layer's tilesize at zoom z to 128 pixels whilst fetching 256 pixel tiles from zoom z+1 (same x,y). Of course twice as many tiles have to be loaded from the server - you can't get something for nothing.
Are there any other tips about for optimising for Retina type displays ? -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/IPAD3-Retina-Tweak-tp4990198.html Sent from the OpenLayers Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/openlayers-users
