I was trying to do something similar too. I had to draw parallel lines between to points, one in each direction. I had to do the conversion Mark suggested.
It would probably be nice to be able to add an offset in pixels to any feature, without needing to alter it's actual geometry, like right before drawing... though I can't think of it being terribly useful for anything other than straight lines and points :P but well, it would be great even for named graphics only... I think named graphics are a very powerful thing for styling the data, but at many times useless when you need to offset it. So I second the motion :P Here is my code: http://jsfiddle.net/G5UDF/9/ Is it redrawing the features twice every time? -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/Offset-parameter-for-named-graphic-in-Feature-Vector-tp3927874p5007562.html Sent from the OpenLayers Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Users mailing list us...@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/openlayers-users
