Hi lists, I've got a map (all overlays) with WMTS layer. When I check networking I can see after each GetTile request data:image/gif;base64… request that is sent by OpenLayers.Tile.Image.
What is this used for? Do I need it? Is there any way to optimise it (maybe to send it just once)?
