I was using the javscript console in Chrome and no I am not seeing errors
about map.addPopup. I have not declared map as a local variable, see my code
below:
I was looking at Roland's (flyceo) code as shown here:

and it did have map as a local. It appears you are talking about
different code but is it same problem?
