Hello Pascal, I think that's the problem, perhaps it's not possible to repeat. I don't know how to get the extent, and I don't think you can modify the extent in server side if you don't have access to it, probably using some kind of URL (or Ajax?) you could get that.

I suppose that the countries's division layer doesn't have the same maxExtent that the other one and that it's not possible to repeat it if we apply a big resolution (or a very extent zoom) But how do you know the layer's maxExtent (with getCapabilities?) ? How do you change the extent in the server side (I can't access to this external server)?
