This would concern the announcement of OpenLayers 2.13 RC2: Are there any plans to fix issue #875 (http://github.com/openlayers/openlayers/issues/875) *before* releasing OL 2.13 stable or RC3? I'm not sure anyone other than Arnd and me has realised that issue filed at github. As mentioned (in the update part), the bug seems to be still *not fixed in OL 2.13 dev*. Did someone else realise that bug in production usage?
I've found this older ticket (http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/ticket/2965) about label outlines and thought these contributors (rdewit, DonaldKerr, lasmasi, bartvde, ahocevar, aabt, erilem) could probably help out. Arnd has built a perfect test case as a starting point (please see "UPDATE (2013-02-12)" at the link to github). I'd also like to provide support.
