One other issue with letting users add layers from arbitrary OGC
servers, is making sure the server supports the features your
application needs. Doing a getcaps is a useful security check (dont add
a URL to whitelist unless you get a valid getCaps returned), but you
probably want to parse it any to ensure it supports your CRS etc.
