Nice example.
It is a question to the community:
worth the effort to develop UIW (web user interface) to give raster and
vector style, as does a desktop GIS software and incorporate it into
geoserver, mapserver etc?
For example GeoServer provides a box where you can write the style in XML
format (very primitive to my taste).
Using Mapserver .map files styles are created, but also a very primitive
form.
Perhaps the example of Martin suggests a change in this direction ..
